Terms and Conditions

A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the Total rent is payable on booking if the booking is made more than 08 weeks before the start of the rental. Bookings are provisional until a deposit is received and are held for 48 hours. The balance shall be payable per banktransfer 04 weeks before arrival or on arrival in cash or by cheque.
Period of Hire
Rentals commence at 16.00 hrs on the day of arrival and terminate at 11.00 hrs on the day of departure. During high-season all properties are rented out per week with a set change over day.
The arrival time should be arranged in advance. The client should arrange an estimated time with Boavista and inform them of any changes to that time to ensure somebody is available to show the guest into the property.
Rental Prices
Unless otherwise stated all mentioned rental prices are per week, in EURO (€) and IVA (VAT) included. All prices include the use of utilities, bedlinen, bathlinen (not for beach/pool) and final cleaning.
Number of Guests
All properties are fitted out for a maximum number of guests. Boavista reserves the right to terminate the contract in case the agreed number of persons occupying the property is exceeded.
In the event of a cancellation the following percentage is payable:

Before 12 weeks of arrival date: 25%

Within 08 weeks of arrival date: 50%

Within 04 weeks of arrival date: 100%
Any cancellation made by the client for whatever reason shall be sent to the email address of Boavista Holiday Rentals. 
In the event of a cancellation made by Boavista Holiday Rentals, not being a fault of its own, a comparable property in the same pricerange shall be offered.
The guest is strongly advised to take out holiday cancellation insurance.

Right of Entry
Whilst respecting the reasonable privacy of the guest, the management of Boavista reserve the right to access all properties at all times, if necessary, for repairs and emergencies.
Care of the Property
The guest shall take all reasonable and proper care of the property and its furniture, pictures, fittings and effects in or on the property and leave them in the same state of repair, condition, cleanliness and tidiness as at the commencement of the rental period.
Breakages or Damage
The guest is required to inform Boavista of any damage or breakage in or around the property promptly so that it can be repaired and replaced for the next guest.
The guest is bound to reimburse Boavista for replacement, repair or extra cleaning costs where reasonably demanded by Boavista for damage caused by the client.
Rules and Procedures
Guests are required to observe the rules and familiarise themselves with the procedures contained in the information folder provided in each property.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the holiday accommodation.
Pets are permitted in a selected number of properties.
A maximum of two pets are permitted subject to prior arrangement with Boavista and the following conditions; Pets are not permitted upstairs/in bedrooms or on the furniture. Pets must not be left unattended in the property at any time. The guest is responsible for any damage howsoever caused by their pet and liable to reimburse Boavista for any replacement or repair thereby necessitated. Boavista reserves the right to terminate the contract if the behaviour of the client's pet is considered unacceptable.

Boavista Holiday Rentals is not liable for any loss or damage to any client's property or any property belonging to a member of the client's party howsoever caused.
The client or members of his/her party cannot hold Boavista liable for any personal injury/death howsoever sustained where Boavista and/or her employees have used reasonable skill and care; and/or where caused by the fault of the person(s) affected or any member(s) of their party (including inadequate supervision of children); and/or where caused by the fault of a third party, and/or where caused by an event that could not have been reasonably foreseen or avoided.
